It’s why I help you throw parties, gather with your loved ones, and celebrate in style.
starting from childhood, when I’d help my mom and grandmother set the table for everything from Friday night dinners to Thanksgiving.
While the turkey and the rolls and the conversation were always fun to me, there was nothing quite like the little details that went into creating the perfect set-up —
the flowers on the table, the linens draping over it, the flatware that was used.
For me, the conversations flowed better and the memories rooted more deeply when those details were in place. Years later, I’m not a kid anymore — but there’s still nothing quite as special as those little details, especially when it comes to sharing them.
My biggest goal is to help you celebrate all the things, too — because life’s way too short for boring dinners and lackluster conversations… and because life’s also way too short to save the good bottles and make celebrating into a special occasion. Over here, I’ll always invite you to uncork the fancy champs (or the $10 bottle from Whole Foods, hey) and make the most of all of your little moments — because they deserve to be big, extra, colorful ones, too.
Do a table reveal! When guests arrive, have them gather in a common area and wait to reveal the tablescape once all guests arrive. You will get the awe-filled moment you are looking for.
All of them! A recent one was my sister’s wedding following the pandemic. It was so emotional to get together once again.
“Red Red Wine,” The Chicks, and ABBA!
Florals — always florals!
My grandma! She gave me a love for hosting. She has such a knack for bringing people together with intentionality.
“It’s better to be overdressed than underdressed” That goes for more than just what you wear!
