What’s a better way to start the year than with Pantone’s Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse! I mean, the fact that the color of the year is themed around chocolate doesn’t hurt either.
I was jumping for joy when I saw the announcement for this year’s most sought out color. Not only is a neutral color palette right up my alley, it’s finally the year for the brunettes and boy is it going to be fun!!
So naturally, my first tablescape design of the year had to highlight the rich mocha brown alongside other hues ranging from sweet cream to latte to espresso.
Coming off the holiday season which always feels very maximalist to me, I wanted to start the year with a clean, simple tablescape that feels very fresh. Highlighting this design is accents of color from Pantone’s Color of the Year Palette.
Elements of this table design include the following pieces used to create this simply but pretty place setting.
Dinnerware: Divine Ivy Matte White Dinner Plate, Matte White Salad Plate, and Round Edge Gold Flatware
Centerpiece: Floral arrangement made with ivory garden roses, white ranunculus, latte carnations, and white berries arranged in a 4 inch cylinder. Hues of brown colored taper candles in clear candle holders. Gold and clear acrylic battery powered table lamps to add a romantic ambience to the table setting.
